AGILITY
Agility is an ever thriving canine sport that is growing in popularity every year. Agility involves a dog that is unfamiliar with the track being guided by its handler, who familiarises himself with the track in a limited amount of time before the start, to overcome obstacles as quickly and flawlessly as possible.
This sport requires very good communication, rapport and a shared willingness to work together.
As there are many sudden changes of direction and jumps in this sport, the dog should be tested before serious exercise and competition begins.
In our kennel we check the dog additionally orthopaedically and cardiologically.
We work with the best specialists and train at the Agilife club.
In the early spring of 2022 we started agility training at Anna Muszyńska's Agilife dog training.
The training was adapted for Ciri's growing body, we started with safe obstacles at zero level to be able to build the basics and in the future it was easier to raise them accordingly to the growth and growth class of the competition.
As Ciri is a real torpedo we have to put a lot of effort into long distance sending her to obstacles and communication. We are very happy that Ciri loves the sport with all her heart and during the classes she gives her best demanding more and more.
Ciri's great test results allow us to plan to start competing in 2023.
2022 - The beginning of an adventure - trainings in Agilife
On 19 March 2023 we took part in GONE WITH THE BALLOON ... The last indoor agility competition at the pneumatic hall in Sosnowiec.
In the zero class we won 2nd place!
This was our first ever competition, I never thought we would be able to complete the circuit twice without disqualification but it turned out we did quite well. Only 2 teams (including us) completed the track without dis and there were 6 teams taking part.
On the 23rd and 24th of September we took part in the Sack of Paws vol 2 competition in class 0.
We won silver on Saturday and bronze on Sunday.
This year we are wrapping up the competition and preparing to welcome the A1 level.
